KPJ Healthcare Berhad (KPJ) is one of the leading private healthcare providers in the region with a network of 21 hospitals in Malaysia and 2 in Indonesia. With more than 2,600 licensed beds, KPJ hospitals offer a comprehensive range of medical services and have treated more than 2.4 million outpatients and 240,000 inpatients in 2011.

KPJ portfolio includes hospital management, healthcare technical services, hospital development and commissioning, nursing, health sciences and continuous professional healthcare education, pathology services, central procurement and retail pharmacy.

KPJ is determined to be of greater service to the community driven by strong sense of Corporate Responsibility (CR) which has always been an important part of its business jihad inspiration. The Group's main Corporate Responsibility contribution has been through JCorp's Klinik Waqaf An-Nur (KWAN) which was first launched in 1998. The focus of these charity clinics is on delivering basic medical care to them so that they may lead a healthier life and in doing so, promote a more productive Malaysia. To date, KWAN has a network of 17 charity clinics and dialysis centres throughout Malaysia and one charity hospital, Hospital Waqaf Pasir Gudang in Johor.

In view of the anticipated increase of patient numbers from both local & international markets, KPJ has drawn up plans to increase its capacity over the next five years, in line with its aim to add 1-2 new hospitals to its network via acquisitions or Greenfield developments at locations that KPJ has yet to set foot in.
